Study Milestones

  • In June 2009 Alexander Chikunov organized a workshop and invited famous scientists with specific ideas on fighting aging including Alexey Ryazanov, PhD, Professor of Pharmacology, Rutgers University. After this seminar, Alexander commited budgeting of of mice experiment Alexey’s idea. Besides, Alexander financed  three other leading scientific concepts.
  • Alexey proposed an innovative idea of blind testing of a huge number of pharmacological compounds in long-lived mice with the goal to find compounds or pharmacological classes with measurable life extension effect. This experiment is characterised by gnostic and practical approach
  • It is the largest  mice study with 20,000 long-lived female mice and 1,033 pharmacological compounds, including drugs,drug-like molecules, vitamins, supplements, food additives and natural compounds. 
  • The experiment was held in the Jackson Laboratory, Sacramento, CA, USA, a leading laboratory in the life science and pharmaceutical industry.
  • In mid-2013 almost a four-year experiment (1406 days) ended and it became clear that unique results had been obtained. At the end of 2013 Alexander moved to Princeton to develop this research together with Alexey and the team. 

Study Results

  • 5 compounds demonstrated statistically significant life extension effect by 16-22%. It  became the second result after rapamycin.
  • 1033 compounds represented 62 pharmacological classes. With big data analysis we identified only two particular classes of compounds with statistically significant life-extension effect.  It gave us a clue on existence of mechanisms of life-extension we had to find.

Two Mechanisms of Action

  • In 2020, the team established valid hypothesis explaining 2 mechanisms of life extension.
  • We are currently digging down specifying the details of the action of these mechanisms.
    As a hypothesis we have two more mechanisms we are investigating.

Biotechnology Platform

The understanding of the two mechanisms enables us   to represent ourselves as a biotechnological platform that will  fight toxins accumulation in humans in different ways: removing toxins from soil, crops and food and from the body with supplements, drugs and therapies.
